The Magical Yoto Player: A Screen-Free Hit for Kids!

Mar 11, 2025

Have you ever heard of the Yoto Player? It’s a super cool new toy that my kids (who are 7 and 6 years old) just got, and they can’t get enough of it!

The Yoto is a special audio player that doesn’t have a screen, which I love.

Instead, kids use little cards to play stories, music, podcasts, and more.

The Yoto is kind of like another popular toy called the Tonie box. But instead of using character figures, the Yoto uses cards to start the fun.

I think the Yoto is perfect for kids a little bit older because it has extra features like:

  • An alarm clock (great for morning routines!)
  • White noise (perfect for bedtime)
  • A digital clock display (easy for kids to read)
  • The ability to record your own story (so fun for parents or grandparents to send sweet messages!). Maybe the Unicorn World storybook will be a Yoto story one day! In the meantime, we can record it ourselves.

My kids have loved using their Yoto for quiet time.

It’s been a great way for them to relax and enjoy stories without a screen.

We’ve also found it super helpful at bedtime, especially with the white noise feature.

And when they’re home sick, the Yoto keeps them entertained without needing more TV time.

I highly recommend the Yoto for families looking for a fun, screen-free way to keep kids engaged.

It’s been a big hit in our house!
